EVENTS & PROGRAMS

 

Programs and activities are open to youth from any community that would like
to participate.  Physical activities available to the youth include an above ground pool, volleyball courts, a basketball hoop, and horseshoe pits.  We also provide tools and materials for building huts, birdhouses, etc.

LJWMYF offers summer activities including:  hunter safety and bow instruction, fishing, workshops, wildlife and ecology management, hiking and camping, an annual fishing derby, bonfires with activities and refreshments, and a senior and youth organic garden project.

Some of the fall and winter activities include: a haunted forest, ice skating & winter festivities.

at William’s Farm, East Bakersfield Road, Bakersfield, Vermont

These fish are what is stocked in our pond by the Vermont Fish and Wild Life.
We are donated 300 of these fish annually.

Place:      The Lucas James Williams Recreational Field
 8 tenths of a mile east, on East Bakersfield Road (town road #3), from the intersection of Route 108 & Route 36.  Just follow the signs!!
